Breeding

The corys will run up and down a surface to clean it, they usually choose somewhere with water flow so the eggs don’t rot. Females will hold the eggs in there anal fin. then make and female will do the “T pose”.

Origin

Naturally found in 12 countries in South America. They were first mentioned in 1894 by Edward Drinker Cope under the name Osteogaster. They were imported in one of the first South American fish imports, making them one of the earliest corys in the hobby.
